Delete your DhakCast data

What DhakCast keeps about your Facebook Page or Instagram account, and how to remove it.

What DhakCast stores

DhakCast is a social publishing tool. When someone connects a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account to it, DhakCast stores:

  • the Page's ID, name and picture link, and the Instagram account's ID, username and picture link;
  • the ID Facebook gives DhakCast for the person who connected them (not their profile);
  • the access tokens for those accounts, encrypted in Supabase Vault;
  • when each account was connected, whether it can post, and the posts DhakCast published with their links.

DhakCast never sees your Facebook password, your friends or your messages.

How to remove it

  • On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, choose DhakCast and remove it. Facebook tells DhakCast, which deletes the access tokens at once and marks the accounts as needing reconnection, so nothing more is posted.
  • If you use DhakCast, press Disconnect on the brand's Channels page. It deletes that account's token.
  • To have the remaining records erased (account names and IDs, post history), ask the person who runs your DhakCast workspace.
